6 to 8 medium sized crabs or 5 big ones cleaned and shelled

2 big onions sliced finely

2 teaspoons coriander powder

2 teaspoons chilly powder

2 teaspoons garlic paste

Salt to taste

2 or 3 tablespoons oil

½ teaspoon tumeric powder

½ teaspoon spice powder

Clean and wash the crabs well and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions and garlic paste for some time. Add the chilly powder, coriander powder, tumeric powder, spice powder, salt and a little water and fry till the masala separates from the oil.  Now add the crabs and mix well.  Add a little water. Cover and cook on low heat for about 10 minutes till the gravy is very thick. Serve with bread or rice
